Weddings
3.20.10 – Marcus and Kelly VanSickle
What a wonderful love story. A marine and his beautiful wife tie the knot in Naperville at the White Eagle Golf Club. Thank you two for letting me witness such a unique and beautiful day.
Engagement of Dennis and Meleia
I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Dennis and Meleia shortly after Dennis popped the question. Full of energy and love, these photographs matched their personalities.
Joshua and Megha Kauffman – 2.20.10
I had the privilege of documenting Josh and Megha Kauffman’s big day in the Joliet area. Josh and Megha started dating six years ago. I knew Josh from college and met Megha a couple times and immediately thought they were going to eventually get hitched. They are such a fun couple. Thank you two for such a great and fun day!
1.23.10 – Tim and Lisa Donovan
I had such a wonderful time with Tim and Lisa. I met Lisa at the Macy’s in Bloomington, Illinois. She was beaming from ear to ear. I had not met Tim or Lisa before the wedding day so my mission when I met Lisa was to get her comfortable with me. However, it did not take long. Before long the cosmetologist was asking if we had been friends for a while. I felt good knowing that even onlookers felt that I was a trusting and easy person to talk to.
Lisa and Tim met at The Vine and fell in love. Four months later, Tim proposed and the planning began then. Both Lisa and Tim had nothing but smiles on their faces all day. Every time I turned around the two of them were stealing a quiet moment together. I wish the two of them all the best in their long and happy marriage.
Engagement of Carrie and Robert
I had the opportunity to photograph Carrie and Robert for their engagement photos in Chicago. The weather was cooler but beautiful as was the laughter and love shown between the two during the session. We started off at Navy Pier and moved on to Millennium Park and as the evening set in we finished up in Daley Plaza where the Christmas lights lit the area. I had a wonderful time with them and I am excited to photograph their wedding day next fall.
Meredith and Pedro Diaz
On November 7, 2009 Pedro and Meredith Diaz officially became husband and wife at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center.
I met Meredith my freshman year of college when I worked at the school newspaper The Daily Egyptian. She and I were both photographers. From the first time we met she has been a close friend to me. You were always guaranteed to have a great time with her. When she met Pedro she had a new glow about her that caused her to smile bigger and more often. Pedro is a down-to-earth guy who would do anything for Meredith as long as she was happy. I know they will live happily ever after.
Thank you for the privilege to document your amazing wedding day.
Lauren and Joseph Duncan
I had the privilege of documenting October 3, 2009 wedding of Lauren and Joseph. Earlier this year I photographed their engagement and they were wonderful. They were married in Champaign, IL. I started the day at the salon with Lauren around 8 a.m. and it was wonderful to see all the girls and the family members making the getting ready experience for Lauren exciting and fun. Joseph got ready at the hotel with his best man there to offer support. Throughout the whole day the little moments came out and showed how much support and love the couple had for each other and their family members and friends.
Thank you Lauren and Joseph for opening up to me and allowing me to photograph the special moments on your wedding day.
Engagement of Amanda Eck and Colin Costa
I had the privilege of photographing the engagement of Amanda Eck and Colin Costa. They have a very sweet story of how they met. Both of them served overseas in the United States Navy. We decided to go to a place for their engagements near where Amanda was from. We started out on the Prairie trail in Algonquin and then moved on to downtown Dundee. They were such a fun couple to photograph. They felt right at home taking photographs together. I am looking forward to photographing their wedding in 2010.
